Five Reasons to Wear Sunglasses Inside
In the world of fashion, there are a lot of rules. This seems like an ironic statement to make about a world that allows Bill Kaulitz (of Tokio Hotel) to wear wings and Lady GaGa to wear a lobster on her face, but it is a fact.

While I am still learning a lot of these rules, I’ve picked up on a thing or two so far. (For example, crocs are unacceptable.) In a recent (and hysterical) slideshow on GQ.com, “Men’s Worst Style Mistakes,” authors Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle examine some of these rules, such as embellished jeans, guylights and fur coats. While Rakieten and Coyle hit on some key points, I have a little bit of an issue with rule #5: No Wearing Sunglasses Inside/at Night.
Although wearing sunglasses inside is generally frowned upon, I feel that there are exceptions to the sunglasses inside rule! I’ve done some thinking on this topic, and I’ve compiled a list (complete with images!) of the five exceptions that will allow you to safely wear your sunglasses inside/at night!
The five situations in which sunglasses are allowed at night and/or inside:
Your sunglasses are totally awesome and complete a killer look. [Please note: achieving this exception is very difficult and rare. And if you're wearing Oakley's, you can pretty much assume you don't fulfill the requirements of this exception.]
You are drunk. [Let's be real, you don't want people to see what a difficult time you're having on focusing your vision]

Jack Nicholson
You are dealing with fluorescent lighting. ["You walk into anywhere with fluorescent lighting, keep your sunglasses and wear them- I don't care if it's 3 a.m." - Mariah Carey]

Lindsay Lohan
You are expecting an onslaught of paparazzi at any moment. [Come on, those flashing lights are rough!]

Anna Wintour
You ARE Anna Wintour.
Of course, if you match all of these requirements, you can really do whatever the hell you want.
